One off setup fee of $199 for all wireless installs. FullTilt wireless internet is available in selected areas on Waiheke, Gulf Islands and rural Auckland.  Quoted speeds are best effort, actual speeds will depend on factors such as time of day, congestion, location and whether you have a good line of sight to our towers.

What does the install fee cover?

The install fee covers one of our technicians coming to your place, installing a dish, running a cable to where you would like the router, setting up the router and connecting the devices to your local wifi. This normally takes a couple of hours to install.

How do I connect to FullTilt Wireless Internet?

Go and check out FullTilt’s Wireless Internet plans and choose which speed you would like, click Order Now and enter all your details and make payment via credit card. We will then put up a dish up typically on your roof and point it to our tower. We then run a cable inside of your house to your router. This router gives you internet just like any other internet.

What is a dedicated IP address?

With FullTilt every internet connection gets their own IP address to connect to the internet. By having your own dedicated IP, this means other peoples internet activities will not affect you. Plus it means if you ever need to connect to any devices on your internet connection remotely it is easier to do. Such as remotely monitoring security cameras or connecting to a server.

Do I need to be home for the wireless internet install?

Yes, we ideally want someone to be home as we typically drill a hole to bring the cable inside and we always like to cover this off with the owner before doing this. That being said if you are busy with work or other commitments we can arrange to install internet with no one home as long as we have access.

Do I need to tell my current internet provider?

Once your FullTilt internet connection is setup you can get in touch with your current internet provider and ask them to cancel your connection with them. Only you are authorized to cancel your connection with them, we are not allow to do that for you.

Why is there no contract on FullTilt wireless internet?

With FullTilt wireless we have built our own network so we make the rules up and as a general rule we don’t like contacts. So we don’t lock people in with our Wireless Internet plans.

How do I pay for my internet?

Our preferred method of payment for all our services is by credit card. This is because it is automated and you are able to login and see all transactions in our portal.

We can accept payment via bank transfer or direct debit or automatic payment however we have a 5% fee for this as it is more administration on our side.

Explain my monthly billing process.

When you place your order this will be come the day that you are charged on a monthly basis for your wireless internet. 7 days before your invoice is due you will be sent an invoice with the amount due. You can login to your FullTilt account pay anytime after receiving your invoice or If you are setup to pay via credit card, your credit card will be charged the day before the invoice is due for the correct amount.

If your credit card expires or out of funds you will get a reminder 1, 3 and 5 days after the invoice due date. Then if you don’t make payment you will be charged a 9% late fee.

If you don’t make payment after 7 days, your account will be suspended until payment is made.

Can I change my registered credit card?

Yes you can update the credit card you make payment with anytime.

Is it really unlimited?

Yes it is, with FullTilt all our wireless plans are unlimited data however you pay for different speeds. If someone is using too much internet someone will be in touch to discuss. Otherwise go for it.

Can I keep my phone line?

Absolutely, you can keep your own landline phone or you can transfer your phone to FullTilt or you can cancel your landline phone. Whatever you want to do.

Can I get a phone from FullTilt?

Yes, you can get a new phone number or you can transfer your current phone number to FullTilt.

What if I have a big house or want wifi internet at my guest house?

FullTilt can get wifi internet almost anywhere, get in touch and we can come and give you a quote to setup your internet and wifi the way you want it.

Can I upgrade my wifi?

Yes you can upgrade your wifi! We have several options from the person wanting to keep the costs down to full blown business quality wifi with multiple access point in the places required.

What does a FullTilt phone cost

A FullTilt phone costs $19/month, which gives you 1000 minutes local and national calling. If you want to keep your current number there is a one off $29 transfer fee or you can get one of our numbers for no cost.

If you are transferring your existing fibre connection from another internet provider to FullTilt you won’t need to tell your current provider as we will do that for you. However, if you use another form of internet such as copper VDSL or another wireless provider you will need to let them know to cancel your connection once your new fibre install is completed.

Why is there a 12 month contract for FullTilt fibre internet?

Unfortunately Chorus wants to keep people in a contract, so we pass that contract on. If you want no contract then check out our awesome wireless plans!
